The Grove: Get Groovy at MOTR

MOTR is set to host The Grove and the Midwesterners July 21 for a rock and roll dance jam. Cincinnati’s favorite high school success story, The Grove, will be moving their crowd with classic and new original tunes.

High school friends Adam Forsthoefel (lead vocalist and guitarist) and Jeff Voegele (drummer) got the crowd’s attention with their original rock and lively beats. After moving to Ohio University, the band took off on a fresh journey and established new connections and opportunities, playing gigs at Jackie O’s Brewery and The Union. In December of 2012, The Grove dropped their debut CD Procuriosity. The band’s following grew and they continued to play shows from Athens to Cincinnati and everywhere in between.

Many rock and rollers have seen The Grove as the guys continue to surprise and entertain the crowd with their energetic sounds spreading unity and happiness. The Grove loves to play all the favorite Cincy spots like The Northside Tavern, Bogart’s, Southgate House Revival and soon to be MOTR. In 2016, the band recorded a live album at The Northside Tavern showing off their live talent and great sound.

This past March, The Grove hosted the 3rd Annual "Rock N' Revival for a Cure” benefiting the John Forsthoefel for Glioblastoma Research Fund at The Southgate House Revival. Raising over $7,000, the band was joined by locals Lemon Sky, 500 Miles To Memphis, Freak Mythology and many more. Not only do they know how to rock and roll but they also know how to give back to the community, making The Grove one of the grooviest and hyped bands in the area. Since then the band has been recording and preparing for their newest album.

INHAILER FIRST LOOK into new music by The Grove includes two new upcoming singles, “Pipe Dream” and “Kaldrone.” These singles are set to be released in early July on all major streaming platforms. They’ll be leading up to the release of the band’s 3rd studio record. The Grove is excited and eager to get back on the stage and will be getting ready to play Rivermen Whitewater in Lansing, West Virginia on August 18 and Ohmstead Music Festival August 25! The July 21st show at MOTR will be kicking off an eventful few weeks for the band, to say the least!

This will be The Grove's first show in awhile and they are so excited to play new music and share the stage with their Cincinnati family. Stay tuned on more upcoming music from The Grove and catch them at MOTR on July 21 celebrating their new album with support from their friends, The Midwesterners, on July 21. Time to get groovy with The Grove Cincinnati.
