We’re thrilled to announce the return of On Point Music Festival, happening Friday, August 1 and Saturday, August 2, 2025, at Cincinnati’s beautiful Sawyer Point. Presented by Cincinnati Parks and curated by Inhailer Radio, this free two-night festival celebrates the best of the local and regional music scenes — with plenty of rising stars and fan favorites coming together for an unforgettable weekend of live music.
Saturday Night Headliners: Motherfolk and Friends, Americana Folk Friends
Leading Saturday’s lineup is none other than Motherfolk, who have been turning heads this year with their deeply personal songwriting and genre-blending sound. Their new album Eternal Joy dropped earlier this summer, and their packed Woodward Theater performance was electric. If you missed that show, here’s your chance to catch them live at On Point — their set promises to be one of the weekend’s standout moments.
Joining Motherfolk are indie mainstays Multimagic, riding a wave of momentum from their shimmering new single Heart and gearing up for an upcoming full-length album. Also performing Saturday is Touchdown Jesus, one of the most exciting new bands to emerge from our region recently, alongside Americana staples The Tillers and Maria Carrelli, who bring rich, soulful roots music that resonates deeply with festival audiences.
Friday Night Lineup: Americana Main Stage, Eccentric Indie Rock at Schott
Friday night features some of the scene’s most compelling Americana acts, with Ashes & Arrows leading the main stage. Their evocative sound continues to earn widespread praise, making them a can't-miss act. Noah Smith brings his signature voice and songwriting to the festival, and over at the Schott Amphitheater, Sylmar will deliver their high-energy, relentlessly toured indie rock set that’s become a regional favorite.
Beyond the Music: Fun for All Ages
On Point isn’t just about great tunes. Attendees can skate under the open sky at the roller skating rink, bump volleyballs on the beach volleyball courts, or get in on some friendly pickleball. All activities are open to every skill level. It’s a weekend to connect, play, and celebrate community.
Mark Your Calendars
