It’s back! The Inhailer Radio Indie 500 returns Monday, May 19 through Monday, May 26 — streaming live all week right here at inhailer.com, on the Inhailer iOS/Android apps, or in Cincinnati on WGUC 90.9 HD3.
Inspired by the legendary 97X Modern Rock 500, the Indie 500 is our annual countdown of the tracks that define Inhailer — and this year, we’re going even bigger.
🏁 Introducing: Qualifying Laps
New in 2025, Qualifying Laps kick off the week with five full days of our favorite indie tracks.
🗓️ Monday, May 19 through Friday, May 23🕖 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM daily
Over 750 indie favorites will be “racing” for a place in the final countdown. It’s a high-energy preview of the songs, artists, and moments that have helped shape Inhailer’s identity.
“There’s just too much great music in our rotation for 500 songs to ever feel like enough,” says Music Director Nils Illokken. “With the addition of Qualifying Laps, we get to showcase even more of our favorites and build real momentum heading into the big show over Memorial Day Weekend.”
