Fontaines D.C. returns to the A List this week! We welcome back a few previous A List artists, such as Aaron Frazer and Justice, along with many other amazing features.

10. "Every Time You Leave" - The Black Keys


The Black Keys make it to the A List this week. Their latest album, Ohio Players, came out on April 5, nearly two years after their last album, Dropout Boogie, was released in May of 2022.


The Black Keys will be on tour and visiting the general area around the end of October. Louisville, Columbus, Indianapolis are all on the map - tour dates can be found here.






9. "Tuesday" - Toro y Moi


Toro y Moi gets our attention with his track, "Tuesday". This upbeat tune is off of his new album, Hole Erth, that is scheduled to release on September 6. "Tuesday" has a vastly different sound from his previous music and we cannot wait to hear more.


Toro y Moi (Chaz Bear) is on tour this fall, making stops in Dallas, Hollywood, Queens, Miami. Other dates can be found here.






8. "Generator" - Justice


Justice earns spot #8 with "Generator", the second track off of their latest album Hyperdrama. "Generator" was first released as a single on January 24, alongside, "One Night/All Night" featuring Tame Impala. (Pitchfork's in-depth album review can be found here).


Justice returns to the U.S. at the end of September, with shows scheduled in Las Vegas, Atlanta, Chicago and more.






7. "AMAMA" - Crumb


Crumb captures us with the fourth track from their new album, AMAMA, that was released on May 17. Their last album, Ice Melt, was came out in April of 2021, making AMAMA a much anticipated release.


Crumb (Lila Ramani, Jesse Brotter, Bri Aronow, and Jonathan Gilad) start their fall tour on August 20. They are scheduled to make stops in Atlanta, Nashville, Indianapolis and more!






6. "Worthy" - Mavis Staples


Mavis Staples' "Worthy" brings the groovy, confident vibe we all needed this week. This track promotes self-love, appreciation and positivity. This is the first new music she has released in over two years after her album, Carry Me Home, came out in May of 2022, heavily featuring Levon Helm.


Mavis Staples has many shows listed for this fall, stopping in cities such as: Three Oaks, MI; Saratoga Springs, NY; Clearwater, FL and more!






5. "Brown Paper Bag" - DIIV


DIIV's new, mellow-sounding track grabs spot #5 this week. "Brown Paper Bag" is the second track from their newest album, Frog In Boiling Water, that released on May 24.


DIIV (Zachary Cole Smith, Andrew Bailey, Colin Caulfield and Ben Newman) are nearing the end of their summer tour that consisted of 33 dates. This fall and winter, they will be touring in Mexico, South America and across Europe.






4. "Payback" - Aaron Frazer

Aaron Frazer joins the list with his beat-heavy tune, "Payback". "Payback" was released on April 10 alongside another track, "Into The Blue". His upcoming and second album, Into The Blue, released on June 28. His first album, Introducing..., was released in 2021.


Aaron Frazer begins his Into the Blue tour in September, playing shows in both the U.S. and Europe. His closest show will be in Indianapolis at HI-FI on September 21, a few short weeks before touring in his native city of Baltimore on October 8 at Ottobar. Other tour dates can be found here.






3. "She's Leaving You" - MJ Lenderman


MJ Lenderman grabs spot #3 with his single, "She's Leaving You", that was released on June 24. Partnering track, "Rudolph", came out nearly a year earlier in July of 2023. On July 29, another single was released called "Joker Lips". All 3 tracks are a preview into his new album, Manning Fireworks, that is scheduled to come out on September 6.


MJ Lenderman will be on tour this fall. While many shows are already sold out, tickets are still available for Atlanta on October 3, Louisville on October 7 and more, including his native city of Asheville on November 1 at The Orange Peel.






2. "Run Your Mouth" - The Marías


The Marías wow us with their new relaxing and fun track, "Run Your Mouth", that released on March 7. It is the fourth track from their latest album, Submarine. Their last album, Cinema, came out in June of 2021.


The Marías (María Zardoya, Josh Conway, Jesse Perlman, and Edward James) started their Submarine tour on Wednesday and will visit 11 cities in the U.S. until mid October. The European leg of the tour will last until mid November. Dates can be found here.






1. "Favourite" - Fontaines D.C


Fontaines D.C. is no stranger to the A List and we happily welcome them back with open arms for the 8th time in two months. Their new single, "Favourite", released on June 18 alongside "Starburster", which first came out on April 17 and impressively appeared on the A List nearly 5 weeks in a row.


Fontaines D.C. (Grian Chatten, Carlos O'Connell, Conor Curley, Conor Deegan III, and Tom Coll) started their tour in June, but make their way to the U.S. in September. Their nearest show is in Chicago on October 9 at The Salt Shed. Fontaines D.C. shows can be requested here.


Their newest tracks are a look into what's to come with Fontaines D.C.'s new album, Romance, which is scheduled to release on August 23. The band's previous albums, Skinty Fia and secondary release Skinty Fia go deo, came out in 2022 and 2023.
