Another week, another Top 10 countdown with The A List is here on Inhailer Radio. Curated by real humans, and created just for you. What was YOUR favorite this week? Let us know in the Inhailer Radio Discord Server

As always, I’m Nils, spinning the best in indie every Friday from 3–7 PM EST on Inhailer Radio. You can tune in 24/7 with DJs 7 days a week. Check us out right here at inhailer.com, the Inhailer Radio App, or locally on WGUC 90.9 HD-3. Let's get into our favorites this week:

10. "The Rope" - Wunderhorse

We're still seeing the effects of what Covid did for art. Not that we're romanticizing it, but it did allow for some musicians and groups to launch new projects, or first time projects. Wunderhorse is one of those groups out of the UK, and they've continuted to impress us with each release. Their new single The Rope is debuting on The A List this week!

9."Cause = Time" - Middle Kids

ANTHEMS: A Celebration of Broken Social Scene’s You Forgot It In People is exactly that, a celebration of an incredible and important indie record from 2002. This cover album follows the exact same tracklist, with a swath of amazing musicians of various genres and their own take on their assigned track. Sydney's Middle Kids really did right by BSS with their cover of Cause = Time.

8."Heart" - Multimagic

More love for Cincinnati's Multimagic this week! Their brand new single Heart is out noww, and we're excited to see what else 2025 will bring for them. Did you catch them at MOTR Pub last weekend with KNOTTS for the Motherfolk and Moonbeau after party?! It was a blast.

7."catch these fists" - Wet Leg

You're going to "catch these fists" if you haven't been loving this new Wet Leg release. We're still a few weeks away from their sophomore album and we seriously can't wait. It's about to be another Wet Leg Summer!

moisturizer is out 7/11 on Domino Records

6.Elderberry Wine" - Wednesday

MJ Lenderman might not be touring with Wednesday anymore, but he's still an essential part of their recording sessions. It's been a few years since their last release and based off what we've heard so far, we're going to have another folky and fuzzed out banger on out hands!

Bleeds is out 9/18 on Dead Oceans

5."Afterlife" - Alex G

Alex G! If you listen to Inhailer, you know we're big fans. He doesn't seem to miss, and he's really refined his songwriting and instrumentation with each release. Does anybody else hear the Big Country/Dire Straits-esque sounds on this one? Just me?

Headlights is out 7/18 on RCA

4."Everybody Laughs" - David Byrne

David Byrne, you sly dog. How do you keep doing it?! You're 73 and still putting out HITS. Not only does he have a new record on the way, he has a massive world tour starting in September and lasting until March. Definitely see him if you get the chance. This new record is going to feature St. Vincent, Hayley Williams and more.

Who Is The Sky? is out 9/5 on Matador

3."Deep End" - The Lemonheads

There's something about 2025 and artists coming back with new material like they never left. The Lemonheads haven't put out a proper release of originals in almost 20 years and they're back with a rocking earworm. This one featuring Juliana Hatfield and J Mascis!

2."Spike Island" - Pulp

We just love this new Pulp. Again, again we say! Their first record in 24 years is out now, and Spike Island has been one of our songs of the Summer. What else can we say at this point besides thank you Jarvis Covker and Co!

1."LOOK OUT FOR ME" - Turnstile

Alriiiiight, time for a ripper at #1 this week! We've been huge fans of Turnstile since 2021's proper breakout GLOW ON and they're expanding on that sound here with NEVER ENOUGH. Not only is the first half a track that belongs on a Burnout or Tony Hawk Pro Skater game, the second half really goes into interesting territory with a 3 minute trance/breakbeat outro that really sends it home.

Same time next week? Thanks for joining us for this week's A List!
