Orchestral Manoeuvres In the Dark Brings 40 Years of Synth-pop to Bogart's!

Experimental synth-pop outfit, Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark, is touring the US and Canada before embarking on their 40th anniversary tour of Europe and the UK this fall with a stop in Cincinnati on September 4th, 2019. OMD was founded in 1978 and has released 13 studio albums throughout the 80s, 90s, and 2010s—the most recent of which was released just two years ago in 2017. They will be releasing a career spanning box set entitled Souvenir after their 1981 song of the same name on October 4th of this year. After Cincinnati, the band will hit 10 more North American cities including Atlanta, Toronto, Washington D.C., and Philadelphia--all with the B52s--before closing out with a headlining show in New York City.

Cincinnati’s own Automagik will open the show with their delicious get up and dance brand of indie funk rock. Their most recent release, Goldmine, is available on vinyl via SoulStep Records (order here!) and they are releasing a brand new single this Friday, August 30th.
