On April 4th, Dashboard Confessional, Beach Slang and Kississippi will be performing at Bogart’s. With a new album and an iconic sound, Dashboard Confessional promises to bring you a show full of new songs, and nostalgic anthems.

Dashboard Confessional began in Boca Raton, Florida. The American rock band, led by singer-songwriter Chris Carrabba (vocals/guitar, Further Seems Forever, Twin Forks) with Scott Schoenbeck (bass), Armon Jay (guitar/vocals) and Chris Kamrada (drums), formed in 1999. By 2002, a full-length and an EP later, Dashboard Confessional found mainstream success with the hit single “Screaming Infidelities”, receiving an MTV2 Award for the music video. Dashboard Confessional continued to see success throughout the early 2000s, touring with bands such as Brand New and Say Anything, and performing at various festivals around the world. The band released their new album Crooked Shadows through Fueled by Ramen on February 9, 2018.

Beach Slang is a punk rock band hailing from Philadelphia and was formed in 2013. Currently, the band consists of James Alex (vocals/guitar), Aurore Ounjian (guitar), Tierney Tough (bass) and Dan Crotts (drums). The band hit the ground running in 2013, with live shows and their first EP. Beach Slang quickly followed up with several EPs and their first full-length album, The Things We Do to Find People Who Feel Like Us. In 2015, the band released their second album, A Loud Bash of Teenage Feelings, after a short hiatus. Since then, Beach Slang has continued to bring high-energy, catchy lyrics and memorable melodies to stages throughout the country.

Kississippi is an up and coming band also from Philadelphia. The pop/indie folk duo formed in 2014, releasing their first EP, I Can Feel You In MY Hair Still, in August of that year. Kississippi brings an unforgettable sound to this tour. Singer Zoe Allaire Reynolds’ voice soars over guitars and drums, bringing an infectious charm to your playlists (please check out “Cut Yr Teeth” and “Indigo”).

Dashboard Confessional with Beach Slang and Kississippi are sure to bring an unforgettable show to Bogart’s on April 4. Don’t miss out on a night full of singalongs and discovering your next favorite band.
