The 2025 Indie 500 is coming up May 19-26, where we’ll count down the greatest indie songs—tracks that have shaped independent music and left a lasting impact on Cincinnati’s independent airwaves and Inhailer Radio.
Our nominating committee is deep in the trenches, listening to countless hours of music, scientifically and philosophically pontificating over what songs deserve a place on this year’s list. It’s a rigorous process, involving heated debates and existential crises over genre definitions.
